uncle Jimmy

Sweetest old man ever... I can sit and talk with him for hours upon hours about cars, wars, fighter planes, and fishing. These are a couple of the many portraits I got to do of him on my last trip to Florida.

Loving the first one! Was he in the military? I've always wanted an older relative that was willing to tell stories.

thanks chris! he was a pilot, i think for the Navy. he is a great uncle on my wife's side of the family... so I just started getting to know him in the last year or so. he has an incredible memory... he remembers things like the exact date he got drafted, the date certain wars started, every little detail about the planes he flew, he still remembers. its so cool.

his favorite hobby is collecting very old antique Ford cars and showing them at car shows. one of the cars he has is a 1936 Ford... so his shirt is totally genuine, he's not a poser, haha. so cool.
