Thats really neat hey Blain, You get the background out through photoshop or is that just because of the macro focus? Also what do you use for your Lightning photos, do you sit with the shutter open or special triggering device?

Hey David! It's been a while eh!?

Good questions... the background in the leaf photo is dark because the leaf was in direct sunlight and the background was in really dark shadows... I thought the contrast was kinda cool looking.
For the lightning shots, it's all just really long exposures at night! I've been thinking about looking into triggering devices too, but the only time you need them is in the daytime when you can't leave the shutter open for a long time.
Thanks for the comment on the little c-box thing... your the first one!

He he, yeah been awhile :)
Cheers for the info, would love to do some Lightning shots somewhere along the line! Too bad there isn't many storms around here.
No problems, everyone was just scared to be the first to comment :)
Cheers Blaine!
