Downtown Hood River, Mt. Hood, and the Columbia River
On a gorgeous day, June 28th 2009! I love it here and am absolutely blown away every time I go outside. This photo is shot from Highway 14 in White Salmon, Washington.
This is my blog, hope you enjoy! There isn't much I don't love photographing although my favorites tend to be nature, animals, landscapes, travel and people. I am lucky to call Hood River, Oregon home but definitely love to get out and travel! Stoked on life, hope you are too, it's a wonderful ride. Also do wedding & portrait photography! Great shot, Blaine! I can almost reach out and grab one of those Full Sail brews!
a trillion HR tourists would buy this shot to put on their fireplace mantel. Open a gallery!!!
hey buddy...wow...i agree with lindsey. Open a gallery...heck sell the shot to some businesses downtown, because the tourists will buy about anything and some of the locals too...just a suggestion
Uh, born and raised Hood River girl and I absolutely love this picture. You have made a photo that stands out among all the HR photos I have ever seen (and trust me I have seen many!). I agree with earlier comment, this photo should make its way onto downtown this and thats and into the hands of all those tourists passing through and falling in love with this great town.

Blaine, Love all of your pictures! My classmate, Dale Peck, has been sharing with me. Then, I forwarded them on to my nephew here on Kauai because he is also a great photographer. Turns out you and Mike Coots already know each other. Small world, isn't it!
Blaine, your photos make me want to go back to Washington. That blue sky makes the shot pop!
