playing around with my underwater housing

I recently got to go out and play a couple different times with my new underwater housing from Erik at Del Mar Housings.

So far it's been a huge learning experience because it's way harder to get good images than I expected. Everything has to come together perfectly right in front of your lens to get something nice. Even when everything comes together, it happens so fast that my 5d isn't capable of getting the action at 3 frames per second. 8-10 frames per second would be nice!

Anyway here are a few of the better shots from the past couple days... for these 8 photos I tossed about 200 other ones!

Blaine,
Those frames are amazing!!! Seriously wishing I had made it that morning--Daylight savings time was not my friend. Thanks again for hanging out this weekend.

Those photos are B.O.T.C. Remember that saying? Bangin' Off The Chain.

Well I wish I could live somewhere I could surf. I think I got addicted in Central America. I really want that board. Is it worth acquiring from you one way or another or is it really outdated? You know my I like to hip with the latest and the greatest. Anyway I want to surf. I love the ocean.

This stupid blog thing is frustrating I just want to write on my blog, but I have to have a new email address and all that.

Uncle Bob- Haha, ya I went to bed too early (midnight) and decided I wasn't tired, so I got up at 12:30AM and worked till 4AM. I'm actually most productive at those hours for some reason...?

Col- Ya of course you can have the board. Just road trip down here and pick it up!

Tim- Oh man that Mark 3 would be sooo sweet! That and the new housing would cost close like 7K.... so I think I'll be holding off on that for a while. :)
