can you guess what this is?

I took this photo at 3:20 AM this morning. My wife Bethany thinks its kinda lame but I think its pretty interesting. Can you guess what is happening in this photo and what is the subject? It's kinda tricky but if you want to take a guess then please leave a comment. What's the first thing that comes to mind?

    It kind of looks like a boat hull but I don't know what that railing is or what's behind it. The back thing looks like a jellyfish or a hot-air balloon. So really, I have no idea.

    I would have to agree that it does look a little like the prow of a boat, but maybe a catwalk above a stage with stage lights? It is interesting though!!

    Yep, it is the bow of a boat. Can anyone guess what the blue stuff is?? The photo has no photoshop or artificial lighting...
